How do you know if your learner is assigned to the right learning level?

Make sure your student has mastered the following skills and concepts before
beginning the Pre-K curriculum.
o Your student has been introduced to the alphabet's uppercase letters.
o Your student has been introduced to the alphabet's lowercase letters.
o Your student has been introduced to matching the alphabet's uppercase and
lowercase letters.
o Your student has been introduced to the number words from one through ten.

o Your student has been introduced to the following color words:

o Your student has been introduced to the concept that there are spaces
between words in written text.
o Your student has some practice with matching sight words (Example: your
student can match two identical words when mixed in with other words
like "me" and "me").
o Your student has been introduced to adding an "s" to words to showthat
there is more than one.
o Your student has been introduced to counting to 20.
o Your student has been introduced to the concepts of "more" and "less".
o Your student can find patterns.
o Your student has been introduced to the concept of sorting things.
